I am very thankful for the proof reading Dr. Robert Ryan carried out on my English abstract and English summary of my dissertation in Swedish. He made a thorough work which really improved the academic accuracy of my manuscripts. I strongly recommend Dr. Ryan’s services to anyone who wants to make sure their texts maintain a high level of academic stringency.

I am much indebted to Dr Robert Ryan for his help as an English editor of several of my papers during the last couple of years. Although my area (Oriental studies) is rather esoteric, the professional skills of Dr Ryan were always helpful. Quite often I was, in fact, suprised how his suggestions for improvement of my texts, really fit the idea I had been trying to pin down in my writing in, as it turned out, a less than perfect way.

I would definitely recommend his services for any scholar that would like to get her or his text printed and readable to other scholars.

— Martin Hugo, Docent i pedagogik, Jönköping university

— Magdalena Petersson McIntyre, Associate Professor, Centre for Consumer Research, University of Gothenburg.
Many thanks with your helping hand taking your time on a Sunday to turn my conference paper on “ A New Powerful Validation Procedure to Guarantee Comparability in International Attitude and Test Scales: Alignment.” into such a professional text also nicely formatted according to APA US .
— Ingrid Munck, University of Gothenburg
I am so grateful to all the input I got from Dr Robert Ryan during my PhD work, not only the editing of the language but also the scientific argument and logical structure of my thesis, it was like having an extra supervisor.
— Karin Staffansson Pauli, Senior lecturer, Malmö University, Sweden
I have consulted Dr Ryan as an editor for several journal article manuscripts and I am very happy not only for quick and accurate feedback and language corrections, but also for expert advice on how to convey a scientific argument.  I will definitely continue to use his services.
— Professor Helene Ahl, Jönköping University, Sweden
Robert translated the summary chapter of my PhD thesis and the abstract from Swedish to English. I am very pleased with the quality of his translation and with the speed in which he performed this task. I recommend Robert and his work.
— Per Ohlsson, Jönköping University
Robert did a very good job proofreading my doctoral thesis. Not only did he check the language, word choices, grammar, sentence structure and so on, but he also commented on some of my (not so clear to the reader) arguments/discussions in the text and figures that needed clarification. I feel that not only the text itself but also other parts of the thesis was improved after his suggestions. I was very happy with Robert’s quick response at starting the proofreading and also the speed with which he finished. It was great to have the ‘track changes’ and comments in the .doc file. Finalizing the thesis was a stressful time for me and it was great to receive fast responses to my questions (email) from Robert. Thank you for your good work!
— Lisa Melander (PhD student) Linköping University, Sweden
I always greatly benefited from Roberts’s editing English academic texts. He did this job quickly, carefully, and very professionally. His competence, enriched with solid linguistic education, is a key factor that guarantees high quality of his proof-reading. I would recommend his services to all people who would like to improve their academic (or non-academic) English texts, putting them up to high stylistic standards.
— Dr Leonid Kulikov, Leiden University, The Netherlands
